Works of Art
Though she has been a “serious” photographer for more than 15 years, photography has always been a part of Barbara Blaisdell’s life.
Throughout her various professions – high school English teacher, personnel consultant/business owner, tractor-trailer driver, manager of a temporary staffing service – she has constantly pursued her passion of photography.
Blaisdell’s fine art images can be found in private collections throughout the Southeast.
Barbara participates in art fairs and exhibits throughout the year, has won numerous awards for her photography, and has a retail site at The Cotton Company in downtown Wake Forest.
She also teaches a course in Fine Art Photography at the Pullen Arts Center in Raleigh.
My photography has taken me to such places as China, Peru, Iceland, Namibia and throughout the United States, Canada and Alaska.
Barbara is a member of Visual Art Exchange, Raleigh; Wake Forest Camera Club, Wake Forest; and the Carolinas’ Nature Photographers Association.
