My name is Liliana Wyatt but I go by the nickname Liliè Blu, which I have chosen to use for career purposes. I was born in Portsmouth, Virginia in 2000 but have grown up in many places, such as Virginia Beach, Virginia, Bay City, Michigan, Savannah, Georgia, Pikeville, North Carolina, and I now currently reside here in Clayton, North Carolina.
I have always been a very creative person and have always wanted a career in the artistic world. After graduating high school at age fifteen, I developed an interest in photography and eventually saved enough money to get a professional camera. My love for the camera went from photography to exploring a career in film, and I will start attending the Los Angeles Online Film School in February. Currently all my photos can be purchased through the The Chamber Door, LLC, or you can e-mail me.
My photography represents my fondness for the sinister look of everyday life. In the right lighting, something as simple as a tree or a reflection can quickly become eerie yet beautiful in its own way.
I don’t ever plan my photos, they sort of just happen by accident. I try to always bring my camera with me wherever I go. Sometimes I don’t end up taking any photos at all, other times I take photos while riding inside a car, or I might see something out of the corner of my eye and need to photograph it. I don’t have a standard way of working; every photo is taken completely at random.
Life is not planned out for us, and neither should art be, I take photos of life that way it is not the way it should be.
